ISO 45001:2018 Internal Auditor Training
Designed for managers, supervisors, OH&S practitioners, internal auditors, and personnel responsible for establishing, maintaining, or auditing an Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) management system who need the knowledge and skills to plan and conduct effective internal audits against the ISO 45001:2018 standard.
Provide a comprehensive understanding of the purpose, structure, and requirements of ISO 45001:2018, examining the Annex SL high-level structure, the requirements on a clause-by-clause basis, leadership and worker participation, hazard identification and risk-based thinking, legal and other requirements, operational controls, and OH&S performance evaluation.
Develop the knowledge and practical skills required to interpret the OH&S management system requirements and apply the process approach and Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) methodology to internal auditing.
Apply internal audit methodologies to plan, prepare, conduct, report, and follow up audits, collect and evaluate objective evidence, raise non-conformities, exercise objectivity, and determine the conformity and effectiveness of the OH&S management system.
Upon completion, attendees will be able to effectively plan and perform internal audits of an OH&S management system against ISO 45001:2018, support continual improvement, and contribute to the organisation's preparation for external certification audits.
